5 Minutes with Newton Faulkner

 

( Q ) Who is your favourite cartoon character and why?
( A ) Earthworm Jim: don't know if he made it to Australia?

( Q ) What is your worst nightmare?
( A ) Hand damage, of any kind.

( Q ) Where did you go for your last holiday?
( A ) I went snowboarding over Christmas -- that was in the French Alps. It was fun, but I do truly suck at it.

( Q ) How would you describe your fashion style?
( A ) Non-existent!

( Q ) What is on your rider?
( A ) Nothing too crazy these days: the occasional bottle of port, some crisps -- oh, and a kettle. I've always got to have a kettle.

( Q ) What sort of car do you drive?
( A ) I can't drive, so nothing yet.

( Q ) Do you have any strange habits?
( A ) Of course not. What exactly are you insinuating?

( Q ) What are you reading at the moment?
( A ) Narcissus And Goldmund, by Hermann Hesse.

( Q ) Do you have any hobbies or special interests, other than music?
( A ) Women.
